Big bird sing along9/28/2023 Gladys returns to the club, having chased the dog all the way to the subway and now it's her turn for a song request: her song is about the most important feeling any animal can have. Song: Ernie sings about "The Insects in Your Neighborhood". Chicago guesses "The Lions in My Neighborhood", but Big Bird corrects it as "The Insects in Your Neighborhood", which makes Chicago feel okay: "Aw, shucks!" She hums it to Big Bird, who incorrectly responds "Stardust?"Ĭhicago tries again, but the animals see Cricket jumping on the piano keys, playing a familiar song. Song: Luis sings "Baa Baa Bamba" with two sheep, a cow, a duck, and a cat.Ĭhicago wants to go next, but Frances the Goldfish has another song request. Big Bird translates that the sheep's favorite song is "Baa Baa Bamba". Next up is a Spanish-speaking black sheep. Gladys the Cow was none too impressed with the last film about a dog chasing cows, so she gives the dog a taste of his own medicine. He reveals that his job is a watch-selling watchdog, and that his favorite song is about a dog who works as a cowhand. When he asks who should go first, Chicago volunteers, but a Dalmatian says he has to go to work soon. Big Bird thanks Chicago and welcomes the viewer to the Sing, Hoot & Howl Club, where members can play favorite Sesame Street animal songs. He frustratedly shouts "Oh, come on! QUIET!!!" and Chicago the Lion, the club's secretary-treasurer, roars fiercely, everything falls quiet. When they finish, the animals begin chattering simultaneously before Big Bird can welcome the viewer to the Sing, Hoot & Howl Club. The video begins with the Sing, Hoot & Howl Club members, including Big Bird, Gladys the Cow, Buster the Horse, a chicken, a duck, an elephant, and a bunch of Muppet animals, singing "Old MacDonald" with a piano. He replies that he calls himself a Republican. As the sing along ends with slight chaos and everyone leaves, one of the children asks if Biff calls himself a repairman. As the song builds to its crescendo, the TV antenna falls over and Biff sings the song's one last line. Down on the street grounds, Farley, an unnamed girl, Luis, Susan, two Honkers, Oscar the Grouch, and the Two-Headed Monster join in. They all begin singing "What's the Name of That Song?". The TV shows Bert singing it.Īs night begins to fall, Bob suggests they do their "big finish" - only they can't remember how the song goes. It reminds Biff that he's going to play "Doin' the Pigeon". Next, Biff moves the TV to near a pigeon coop where he talks to some pigeons in the coop and asks if they have another song. We then cut to the original 1970 version of Ernie singing "Rubber Duckie". Ernie says he's in the bathtub, so David asks him to sing from down there. David asks Ernie to come up and sing for them. After that, they see bubbles coming from Ernie's bath time in his apartment. The last verse involves his own saxophone. Hoots the Owl requests to sing "Old MacDonald Had a Farm" or "Old MacDonald Had a Band" (calling it "The Barnyard Boogie Song"). After the song, Biff gives the TV a playful slap, causing the back part to pop off and fall off the roof. It shows Olivia singing "Sing", with Linda signing the lyrics. Sully plays a classical piece to warm up and then manages to play "Cheer Up" on the piano, while Big Bird sings, and everyone else joins in on the chorus.īiff then tells everyone that the TV is working again. After everyone sings the intro, we move on to the original song footage.Īfter the gang finishes the song, Big Bird requests to sing "Cheer Up", which nobody knows how it goes. Next, Bob chooses to sing "We All Sing with the Same Voice". She sings it all the way to P and then everyone else joins in. After the song, Biff attempts to change the channel, but pulls the knob off the set.Īs everyone else argues over what to sing next, Bob calms them down and allows Nicole to pick and she requests to sing "The Alphabet Song". Biff turns on the TV, showing Grover and Madeline Kahn singing "Sing After Me". After that, Biff whistles to let them know that the TV antenna is fixed. The gang begins the sing along with "John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt." Next, the adults lead everyone to "Stand Up and Pinch Your Nose". ![]() ![]() Biff passes until they can finish their work. They inform the workers that they're going to hold a rooftop sing along and invite them to join.
